It is always fascinating to me to read how the Christian influence used (or misused) the ancient myths and stories to incorporate their own stories. Epiphany with all its traditions. AS the twelfth day of Christmas some still have a tradition of making this the day when all the Christmas trimmings are packed away . its a wonderful discipline and can incorporate rich personal reflections etc………..but the ancient with all its mysterious and beautiful is still overshadowing.

I’m traditional enough that 12th day is important to me. I thought it was neat that the image showed Persian magi, in their own clothes.
