I’m sitting here in northern Canada, it’s eleven o’clock, and I’m starting to think it’s dark enough to go stargazing once I finish this. I started this blog back in January, after a long hiatus from writing. (I wrote three books back in the 90s, all on mythology.) This has been my way to start again.
I’m looking forward to learning more about blogging through this course, and reading others’ blogs as we go along.

Welcome aboard to Blogging 101.
My reason for taking part is similar to yours; I’m a writer (I write about comics books), I burned out on blogging, and I want to kickstart the engine with no expectations or preconceived notions.
Hopefully, it will be fun. š
I’ve written and scheduled my first post, but it won’t post until tomorrow morning.
Good luck!

Thanks! I like comics, as you probably noticed, so I’ll keep an eye out for your stuff.

My main blog/website is here, but I’m doing Blogging 101 at a new blog I set up, The Chronicles of Awesome.
And, yeah, I see you have a love of comics. I took a look at a post you made on the current run of Batgirl. I like that it’s not as grim as Gail Simone’s run, but it’s not quite as much fun for me as the Bryan Q. Miller run with Stephanie Brown before Flashpoint was. I loved Steph’s Batgirl. She was the “fun” Bat-family member. š

I haven’t read those two runs, but I will now. I hadn’t read comics since I was a kid, and the New 52 seemed like a good time to start again. Every time I post someone responds with a bit of comic history I knew nothing aobut, which is great.
